Hi, I'm Steve from Montana. I'm a long time Pentax shooter but I've ordered a D810 on eekBay and also a 28-300 G zoom. I've always admired the D810 and I'm looking forward to start shooting with it.

The D810 is a great camera. But if you want to use the full potential of the D810, you need to use either fixed focal lenses or the F2.8 pro zooms like the 24-70/2.8 etc

Thanks for the welcome Dirk. Unfortunately my budget won't allow me many Nikon lenses. I do have some Takumar lenses to try out with an adapter that has a lens for infinity focus.
